Crowsnest RCMP ask public for help in locating wanted male

On Thursday, Oct. 14, Crowsnest Pass RCMP arrested a male on outstanding warrants.

At approximately 2:15 p.m., on Oct. 14, the suspect who was restrained with handcuffs, was being placed in a police vehicle outside the RCMP Detachment when he allegedly assaulted the RCMP officer and escaped custody. The officer pursued the suspect however was unable to locate him.

RCMP Police Dog Services were called; however, search efforts did not locate the suspect. Police believe he may have been picked up by a passing motorist.

Samuel Shawn Fralick (24) of Blairmore, Alta. is currently wanted on warrants for assault, flight from police and fail to comply with conditions.

Charges are also pending regarding this incident.

Fralick is described as:

  • 5’6” tall;
  • 120 lbs/55 kg;
  • Brown Hair;
  • Brown Eyes.

Fralick was last wearing a white t-shirt and baggy blue jeans.
