Fire reported south of Skookumchuck
The BC Wildfire Service this morning reports there is a .30-hectare wildfire burning near Highway 93/95 about two kilometres south of Skookumchuck.
Believed to be person-caused, the fire is located just south of Farstad Way.
This fire is the second one burning in the East Kootenay, including the South Teepee fire which reached 35 ha south of Cranbrook that is now considered under control.
