MP seeks nominations for Platinum Jubilee Awards
Kootenay-Columbia MP Rob Morrison is asking constituents to consider submitting nominations for Platinum Jubilee Awards.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the accession to the Throne of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Canada’s longest reigning Sovereign and the first to celebrate a platinum jubilee.
To commemorate this historic milestone and to reflect on Canada’s storied relationship with the Queen, Platinum Jubilee pins will be distributed, by MP Morrison, to fellow constituents of Kootenay-Columbia.
Platinum Jubilee pins will be awarded to nominated community members who have shown a commitment to making the lives of their neighbours better.
Nominate a member involved in your community! You could nominate a veteran, first responder, front line worker, community volunteer, organizational leader, caregiver, or anyone who has had a positive impact on the community!
MP Morrison’s office will be accepting nominations until June 24, and they can be submitted via this link.
