Rotary gives $22,000 to Angel Flight East Kootenay

The Rotary Clubs of Cranbrook, Invermere, Kimberley and Fernie today donated $22,000 to Angel Flight East Kootenay.

Angel Flight East Kootenay was founded in April 2019 by Brent Bidston (Ret. Airline Captain) and is an entirely volunteer-led charitable organization with no paid employees. Brent: “Our mission is to fly residents of the East Kootenays to treatment centres in Kelowna, for free!”

The donation comes from the proceeds of Rotary Community Online Bingo. Our clubs are all in the bingo partnership and we receive a portion of the money made through card sales.

Thank you everyone for your ongoing support of Rotary Online Bingo. Collectively this past year we have managed to make a big difference in many communities across B.C. We are excited for what comes next and the great things that we will be able to do together!
