Elkford Search and Rescue (SAR) was tasked yesterday afternoon (June 16) to assist BC Ambulance Service by retrieving a person who suffered an injury at the Elk Lakes Provincial Park.

The crew went in via helicopter to the lakes and transported the subject to the awaiting BC Ambulance (pictured), SAR reported on social media.

Ground crews were ready to assist should they be required. Physical distancing was practiced where possible and precautions taken when not able to distance.
