Elkford starting new holiday tradition

The District of Elkford is asking residents to help it start a new holiday tradition – Elkford’s first Christmas Tree & Gazebo Lighting on Thursday, December 8.

Grab your friends and family and head over to Elkford’s Meeting Place (the gazebo between 744 and 750 Fording Drive) to enjoy free hot chocolate around the fire, then watch as Elkford’s gazebo and surrounding trees are lit up with Christmas lights for the holiday season.

Hot chocolate is served at 5:30 p.m. and the lights will be lit at 6 p.m.

Make the most out of a beautiful winter evening under the stars and bring your own marshmallows, hot dogs and roasting sticks.

Pets must be kept leashed, but everyone is welcome!
