52nd annual Fernie Demolition Derby returns Sept. 6
High-octane automotive chaos, crunching metal, and family-friendly excitement return to the Elk Valley on Sunday, September 6, for the 52nd annual Fernie Demolition Derby.
Hosted by the Fernie Lions Club, this long-standing Labour Day weekend tradition brings together motorsport fans and families from across the region to raise funds for local charities, youth sports, and community initiatives.

Gates open at 11 a.m. at the Demolition Derby Grounds (1800 Railway Ave), with the first crunching heat kicking off at 12 p.m. Spectators can look forward to a full day of action packed with classic derby heats, live entertainment, and family activities.
