Island Lake Lodge helps food bank
The high-country retreat has kept busy creating meals for the Fernie Food Bank.
“We love Fernie and are always looking for ways to help our community. Chef Mark (pictured above) and team recently put together a number of meals for the food bank, which will be distributed around the community in the coming days. The team made 30 litres of potato and fennel soup, 15 litres of beef and bison stew and 25 litres of a beef chili. We hope you are all doing well in these challenging times,” Mike McPhee, Director of Sales and Marketing for Island Lake Resort Group, recently reported.
