Environment Canada this morning issued another snowfall warning for the Elk Valley, with 15 to 20 cms expected in the southern part of the valley.

The warning spans from this evening to early Tuesday morning (Dec. 14).

“Heavy snow is expected tonight over southern Elk Valley, particularly in Fernie and Morrissey, as an upper trough moves through the region. Snow will become lighter on Tuesday,” Environment Canada stated.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
