College of the Rockies Biology of the Environment (BIOL 151) students recently had the opportunity to discuss their recent research projects with grade four students from McKim School in Kimberley.

The biology research projects explored questions related to environmental impacts in our communities. The project pictured looked at the rate of water flow along Joseph Creek in Cranbrook and whether it is sufficient for proper sedimentation levels needed for the growth of a variety of organisms that fish feed on.
