Dryland Camp was three fun-filled days
The Teck Regional Dryland Camp in Kimberley was another success!
Nine coaches and 43 skiers from across the East and West Kootenay came together for some fun-filled training.
Three days of activities
 included ski-striding up the
 Kimberley Ski Hill, running
through the Kimberley
Nature Park, a chocolate
-filled orienteering event, and
 even an Ultimate Frisbee
Tournament! There was also plenty of ski-focused training on roller skis.
Advanced skiers benefited from video analysis, a 3.9km uphill time trial, and a three-hour classic roller ski on a newly paved road, covering 30km and gaining 525 metres in elevation.
The junior skiers got an intro to roller skiing, followed by an obstacle course that left everyone with increased confidence and big smiles.
A big thank you to our volunteers, coaches and skiers in helping to make this another successful and fun camp!
