Kimberley First Saturday returns for another season tomorrow, Saturday, July 6.

Kimberley Arts Culture and Heritage Committee, with representatives of the Kimberley Public Library, Kimberley Heritage Museum, Sullivan Mine Underground Railway and Kimberley Arts Council-Centre 64 along with a number of other community partners have collaborated to develop and present Kimberley First Saturday, a monthly Festival of Arts, Culture and Heritage on the first Saturday of each month from July to October.

Art venues, restaurants, boutique shops in the Platzl and greater Kimberley area will offer a variety of special activities including exhibition openings, theatre, workshops, live music, talks, tours, street happenings, food, train rides, historical and special events.

The purpose of event is to create awareness and enhance community arts, culture and heritage activities, as well as increase participation by local community and visitors and promote partnerships between community organizations and local business.
