UPDATE: RCMP report the vehicle was recovered.

Kimberley RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle that was stolen from the area sometime between 8 p.m. on August 28 and 3:30 p.m. on August 29.

The vehicle was parked at the Meadowbrook mailbox pull out (by Mainroad’s yard) at the time that it was stolen.

The vehicle is described as a silver 2006 Volkswagen Jetta with BC plate 626 MHD. The vehicle has tinted rear windows, black rims and a chrome grill. The plates may have been switched.
