Seahorse Swim Club off to great start

The Kimberley Seahorse Swim Club is off to a great start with 54 swimmers registered with the club.

On May 27 and 28, 14 swimmers including coach Jackson Sorenson represented the team at the first meet of the season in Trail.

Congratulations to all the swimmers. There were many great race moments and several top three placements including:

Div 1

Cliff Jarvis – Third in 50 free.

Div 3

Brooklyn Burki – First in each event 50 breast, 50 fly, 100 free, 100 IM.

Div 4

Trent Walkley – First in 100 free, in 50 free and 200 IM; third in 50 fly.

Div 5

Georgia McKinnon – Third in 100 free and 100 breast.

Kyle Dobi – 1st in 50 free and 100 back, 2nd in 200 IM.

Div 6

Morgan Dobi – First in 200 IM & second in 100 Fly;

Bianca Marina – Third in 100 breast;

Quaid Anderson – First in 100 Fly and second in 50 free & 50 fly;

Jeremy Woods -First in 200 IM & second in 100 breast.

Div 7

Chloe Luke-First in 100 back & 200 IM & second in 100 free & 100 breast;

Jackson Sorensen – First in each event 100 back, 100 breast, 100 fly.

The team also competed in Nelson on June 3 and 4.
