After some 15 years of working at establishing a Gas Bar and Convenience Store on Shuswap First Nation’s land, the Band’s Economic Development Partner, North Rock Holdings Inc., is pleased to announce that this exiting project has commenced.

Located north of the Kanata Inn (formerly Super 8 Motel) it is expected to be open for business in early 2017.

Shuswap Band Chief Barb Cote, left in yellow hard hat, council members, band staff and North Rock Holdings members recently held a ground-breaking at the site, north of the Invermere crossroads.
