Join the 4th annual Slopes for Hope event in Kimberley

Slopes for Hope is a winter enthusiast event designed by local residents in support the Canadian Cancer Society.

In the past three years over $95,000 has been raised and this year’s event has a goal of $30,000 to be raised. Nine teams have been registered so far.

Event organizers are inviting Nordic skiers, alpine skiers, snowboarders and all people who love to play in the snow to join the fight against cancer as we take it to the slopes!

We are excited to grow the event this year with the addition of two more challenges. You can now participate in the following categories and ski Descending Everest (Alpine Event), Everest Trek (Nordic Event) or be a snow warrior and ski the Everest Warrior (combination of Alpine and Nordic Event.)

Participate individually or in teams of up to four people with your family, friends and co-workers.

Free entry fee for children and youth to the age of 18.

Descending Everest

Can you ski the height of Everest? That works out to be 16 passes of the main run at the Kimberley Alpine Resort; $20 event fee per person and day pass at the resort.
