Recently our five-year-old son told my husband something.
It started like this…
My husband took him to the park and right before my son took off down the zipline, he started his sentence: “Dad, I said something.”
He then shared that during his Kindergarten recess he told a group of kids that his Dad was the Mayor.
My husband is loving this.
He is full on amused.
You see, my husband’s office is right beside the Mayor. The Mayor is his boss. So this statement is not really a stretch of the imagination. It’s not like my husband is a professional dog walker and my son was way off.
But, it’s still funny as hell.
