Drivers be wary as students head back to school
Elk Valley RCMP would like to remind everyone children will soon be back to school after summer break. Please be mindful and aware of the posted speed limit in school zones of 30 km/h between 8 a.m., and 5 p.m,.
RCMP will continue to be proactive in and around our communities with school visits as well performing traffic enforcement at our school zones. We will also continue to focus on targeting on aggressive/distracted/impaired drivers.
Remember: “Stop the texts = Stop the Wrecks.”
