Numa pedestrian bridge being replaced
Parks Canada will be replacing the Numa Falls pedestrian bridge in Kootenay National Park.
The bridge replacement and restroom rehabilitation is scheduled to begin in the spring.
The Numa Creek Viewpoint will reopen and access to the Rockwall from this location will also be restored in 2020.
This will cause no delays for motorists.
What will cause delays is the Wardle Creek bridge replacement, 53 km north of Radium Hot Springs, expected to be complete in the spring.
The aging highway bridge at Wardle Creek, eight km south of Kootenay Park Lodge, is being replaced for safety.
