Unattended fire extinguished
Fernie Fire Rescue responded to an unattended fire at the top of cemetery bypass yesterday (Sept. 2).
The department was contacted by a mountain biker, and the fire was extinguished.

Perpetrators can face penalties under the BC Wildfire Act.
