Kimberley Alpine Resort this morning reports the Northstar Quad Chair is currently running.

“The crew put in a long day and were able to get the part successfully installed, and it appears to be working well. Our plan is to run the chair through the night to test it out, and assuming everything checks out okay, then we plan to start loading public tomorrow,” the resort noted on social media last night.

And at 9 a.m. today the quad chair was rolling and loading skiers and boarders.

The quad chair had a bearing failure in the gearbox Jan. 2, forcing the closure for repairs.
