Supporting local this holiday season
Attention Cranbrook businesses! To give back to local businesses we are launching the ultimate shop local campaign. Become a partner, and your customers can be entered to win some great prizes!
Last year’s Shop Local Campaign had some great prizes for those supporting local businesses – and this year we have even more prizes. The more you shop local, the better chance you have to win!
We know you’re busy this time of year, so we’ve kept it simple. We will send you the information and supplies you need to promote your involvement, you pass out an entry slip when you provide the guest their receipt, and we will take care of the rest. We will even share you through our as one of our partners.
How does it work?
Shoppers who make a purchase of any amount at participating businesses (either in person or online) will receive an entry slip for some great prizes. Simply fill out the short amount of information (name, phone number, email, and business of purchase) and pop it in the entry box. If you’re in a rush – no worries. You can go online and upload proof of purchase or order confirmation on our website to be eligible for giveaway prizes.
You can also drop off your entries at the Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce.
Purchases made between November 26 and January 4, 2022, are eligible to enter. Prize winners will be announced January 5, 2022. Entries of purchases made during contest dates can be uploaded until January 4.
Food services providers: Purchase of gift cards and merchandise are eligible for this contest.
Gym and fitness providers: Memberships, gift cards, and merchandise are eligible for this contest.
How do I get involved?
Let us know by filling out the form on our website, or by sending an email to [email protected] that your business is interested in taking part. We will get in touch to discuss any alternative shopping options you have in place, and provide you with a poster, a draw box, and a decal to display at your business to let shoppers know you are a participating business.

This program and its corresponding assets are open to all Cranbrook businesses! Participants are not required to have an active Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce membership.
The chamber is doing the campaign in partnership with the Downtown Business Association, Kootenay Aboriginal Business Development Agency, the City of Cranbrook and the Cranbrook Farmers Market.
