Cranbrook and Fernie Search and Rescue teams woke up early to spend Valentine’s morning on a joint rescue up Lakit Lake.

Fernie Search and Rescue’s Long Line Team was able to bring two stranded hikers off the mountain.

The hikers were accessed by Cranbrook Search and Rescues Medics, then the duo was transported to BC Ambulance Service.
