Creston silent auction provides Christmas Hampers

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Sue’s Clotheslines’ Silent Auction for Creston Ministerial Christmas Hampers.

“The generosity of the business community is amazing,” said Sue Thomas, owner of Sue’s Clotheslines (pictured). “We have 60 contributors and the value this year is over $11,000 of product or gift certificates.

“All items are on display next door to the store as well we have the picture of all the items in our front and side windows. The bid sheets are again located inside the store. If you are out and about today stop by and have a look. It is Christmas giving made easy and the best part is all the money raised go to the Ministerial Christmas Hamper Fund. Truly giving back to our community.”

Pastor Tom Greentree added: “Local Creston peeps — make sure to check out the huge selection of Silent Auction items, collected and overseen by Sue from Sue’s Clothesline, with all monies going to support the Creston Ministerial Christmas Hampers. Once again, I’m in awe of this generous community of Creston.”

Bidding closes this Saturday, November 26 at 4 p.m. Creston time.
