Kimberley Farmers’ Market resumes June 15

Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook is thrilled to announce that the Kimberley Farmers’ Market is returning to Howard Street this coming Thursday, June 15 in conjunction with in-kind support from the City of Kimberley.

The market will boast favourite local vendors, on Thursday evenings from 5 to 7:30 p.m. that bring a bounty of locally grown produce, food, drinks, handmade art, live music, and a good ‘thyme.’

The vendors can’t wait to connect with the community after the long winter break.

The widely popular Kimberley Farmers’ Market started in 2014 as an initiative to provide direct access to locally harvested and sustainable food. As with many of Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook’s programs, it was created from community need and has now flourished into a vibrant setting for the community to gather, connect and support small business owners and the local economy.

For anyone who would like to get involved, the market still has room for food vendors and Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook is always on the search for eager volunteers. They know it can seem daunting to sign up as a volunteer for an entire season, so they’ve created a system where you can sign up just when you’re available.
