On Saturday, September 9, the citizens of Cranbrook and surrounding area are in for a real treat. Cranbrook United Church will be hosting a Collector’s Expo.

The event will be held between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and there will be local and regional vendors.

Admission is by donation and all proceeds, including vendor fees, will go to the Cranbrook United Church Awesome Kids Club.

Those attending can expect to find treasures such as trading cards, comics, vinyl records, vintage toys, action figures, Funko Pops, and other collectables.

There will be food and refreshments for the vendors and patrons. The Awesome Kids Club will be selling lemonade upon entry.

Betty Ann Cupello, co-ordinator of the Awesome Kids Club, advises that the funds raised will be used for activities such as movie nights, attending Cranbrook Bucks hockey games, as well as games and crafts in the church for all children ages five to 17 in the City of Cranbrook.
