BC SPCA Lottery returns with massive 50/50

The BC SPCA Lottery for animals in need returned March 6 with a chance for animal lovers to win exciting cash prizes.

It’s the biggest spring 50/50 yet with a pot up to a jaw-dropping $850,000. Plus, daily prizes in June totalling $150,000.

Not only could caring British Columbians win big, they’ll also be bringing critical help to vulnerable animals. The BC SPCA hopes to make it the best lottery yet for four-footed friends across the province.

Tickets start at only $30 for the daily cash prizes and 50/50 tickets can be added for just $10. Last year the 50/50 sold out early and is anticipated to do so again this year.

“It’s such a delight every year to call our compassionate winners and let them know that their act of kindness has come back to them in this big way,” says Alina Wilson, BC SPCA senior officer, digital giving. “With 30 prizes ticket purchasers will have 30 chances to win, not to mention the exciting 50/50 pot!”

Tickets for the lottery are $30 each, three for $60, or for the best deal six for $90. Tickets for the 50/50 draw are $10 each, three for $25, and six for $40 and must be purchased in conjunction with a ticket for the Calendar Lottery. The final ticket sales deadline is May 10.

For tickets and for more information, visit lottery.spca.bc.ca or call 1.855.205.5998. Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older and tickets can only be sold in B.C. Know your limit, play within it.
