City of Cranbrook Public Works crews are continuing to clean the boulevards along Highway 3 with periodic closures of the outside lanes.

The city today reported it is using a limited amount of water, which is being sourced from a well outside the city, to aid in the street cleaning.

The work, which started Monday, is expected to be complete on Friday, March 22.

The work will be along Highway 3 from the Victoria Avenue and Theatre Road intersection to 30th Avenue N.

Lane closures will continue until 3 p.m. daily through to the end of the week. Please be mindful of workers in the area and thank you for your continued patience and understanding while the cleaning is underway.
