Neighbour helps save Invermere house in early a.m. fire
At 5:11 a.m., Friday, July 19, Invermere Fire Rescue responded to a fire on 13th Avenue.
The fire had spread to the exterior siding of a single-family home.
IFR extends its gratitude to the neighbour who alerted the sleeping residents and brought a garden hose to the fire’s origin, the fire department noted on social media.
“One of the residents managed to extinguish the fire before our arrival.”
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
