New chamber board member says “thank you”
Letter – Dear Members of the Radium Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Radium Hot Springs Association:
Thank you for your vote of confidence in appointing me to the Board of the Radium Chamber and Tourism.
At the first directors meeting, held on November 5, I was selected to be the Membership chair for the 2012/2013 year. I am looking forward to connecting with each of you and to work with you to make this an exciting year for Radium.
It is my aim to increase communication with all members and to find ways to increase the benefits that each member can maximize on, many members may not be aware of all the benefits available to you and therefore we will include a list in our first 2012 newsletter to be published shortly.
Another thought is to increase our communication through a member only link and blog so that those items that need to be out sooner than a newsletter can be communicated.
This first e-mail is to initiate this connections with you and to appeal to you to give a little of your time to help the various directors in their respective portfolios, every little contribution is welcomed and appreciated.
All members are invited to submit articles for your newsletter and some of the topics we would like to feature in each edition include:
Accolades: Recognize members for contributions they have made. (An example would be spearheading an event, donating time or facilities for an event etc.)
Calendar: To help members plan their year we are looking for suggestions on events that we should list and in turn support through increased awareness.
Articles: Timely articles on new initiatives, changes (such as the move from HST to PST expected in the New Year) and more.
Open: Articles of general interest.
