City hall entrance work scheduled Sept. 2 – 5
If you have been on the sidewalks in front of Cranbrook’s City Hall lately, you will have noticed the sidewalk bricks are crumbling, so we’re doing something about it.
The broken brick work has become a potential tripping hazard.
Public Works will have a contractor on site from Tuesday, September 2 through Friday, September 5, to remove the damaged bricks at the front entrance and replace them with stamped concrete.
On Friday, September 5, City Hall will be closed to the public while the concrete is poured and finished.
During this time, there will be no access to the front entrance. Staff will still be available to assist residents by phone or by email during regular office hours.
In the event of rain, this work will be rescheduled to the following week.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while this important improvement work is completed.
