Sparwood Search and Rescue (SAR) is inviting community members to attend their Sept. 23 Open House.

“Bring the whole family for a visit – learn what our team does for our community, what gear we have on hand, and how you can get involved! Not all roles in SAR are operational and in the field,” said Samantha Batten, Sparwood Search and Rescue Director at Large.

Food and refreshments will be available for free!

The Open House runs from 4 to 7 p.m. at Sparwood SAR Hall, 705 Douglas Fir Road.
