The City of Kimberley is excited to share that the St. Mary’s Avenue infrastructure improvement project is done.

This major upgrade includes: 

New underground infrastructure;

A safer, updated retaining wall;

More parking options;

Improved traffic flow for smoother commutes

New sidewalk to improve accessible travel through the corridor.

Please note important traffic changes:

• Portions of St. Mary’s Ave are now one-way;
• Traffic can still travel both directions on Spokane Street toward Selkirk High;
• Vehicles cannot travel from St. Mary’s Avenue to Spokane Street;
• You can turn north onto St. Mary’s Ave, but must turn left or right before reaching Spokane Street.

We understand these changes may take some getting used to—please pay close attention to posted signage to ensure safe and smooth travel.
