Lake ice an inch away from Whiteway target
The Toby Creek Nordic Club today reported there is seven inches of ice on Lake Windermere as of Tuesday, with reports from Kinsmen, Indian Beach and Windermere Beach ice thickness checks.
The cooler weather upon us at the moment cold weather will likely help us hit our eight-inch ice thickness target.
The skating surface looks good but there is no snow in sight.
It’s Loppet weekend at @nipikamtnresort and @panoramaresort so still plenty of great opportunities to get on your skis!
