Davies and Kisilevich KIJHL Stars of the Week
The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) is pleased to announce its final Stars of the Week for the 2025-26 season.
Forward – Luke Davies – Kimberley Dynamiters
The Calgary native made an impact to help the Dynamiters win the KIJHL Cup. Davies had a two-goal, four point performance in Game 6 in Princeton leading to a 5-1 win. He added another two goals in a Game 7, 4-3 double overtime win. He played an average of 27 minutes a game and was +6. Davies finished fifth in the KIJHL playoff race with 23 points in 20 games.
Goalie – Adam Kisilevich – Kimberley Dynamiters
The Edmonton native was fantastic in goal for the Dynamiters stopping 62 of 66 shots in Game 6 & 7 combined for a 1.70 goals against average and .939 save percentage. The 6-1, 170 pound goalie was named the KIJHL Championship Most Valuable Player after winning 15 of 18 games with a 1.67 GAA and a .939 SP.
Defence – Ben Dods – Princeton Posse
The Chilliwack native scored the lone goal for the Posse in their Game 6 5-1 loss at home. In Game 7, Dods set up Jace Shuttleworth for the equalizing goal to send the game into overtime. Dods logged a lot of minutes, playing an average of 28 minutes a game and was +1. He finished first among KIJHL defencemen in points with five goals and 16 points in 24 games.
