Join local authors Japhy and Dale Hunt Thursday, June 25 (6:30-7:30 p.m.) at the Invermere Public Library for a reading from their latest local history book ‘A Young Look at the Old Toby Creek Benches.’

A brief history of The Benches area – its farms, and the families who lived there in the early 1900s – the book is a collection of essays, poems, historical documents, photographs, and the post-humous writings of Japhy’s Great-Great Grandmother Phyllis Falconer, lovingly edited into print.
