The District of Sparwood is reviewing proposed updates to its Traffic Regulations Bylaw, which governs traffic movement, parking, and the use of municipal roads.

The proposed bylaw represents a comprehensive update to the existing bylaw adopted in 1987 and includes new provisions related to truck routes and no truck routes on Michel Creek Road, from Industrial Rd #1 to GN Road.

Council has given first reading to the bylaw and is seeking input from residents, businesses, and stakeholders prior to considering further readings.
