To help improve public safety and accessibility, a number of potential sidewalk and crosswalk tripping hazards are set to be repaired around the City of Cranbrook starting Monday, July 13, and continuing over several days.

Public Works has contracted a company that will be grinding down heaved sidewalk panels around Cranbrook and level heaved asphalt at some concrete letdowns in the downtown core.

Nearby residents and businesses at these locations may notice some increased noise temporarily as crews complete these repairs.
