God Is A Scottish Drag Queen is Mike Delamont’s award-winning comedy hit, built around a deliciously strange premise: God comes down to Earth as a Scottish drag queen and proceeds to roast, lecture, tease, and lovingly side-eye the human race.
The show has become a Fringe favourite and has picked up more than 18 “Best of Fest” awards.
Delamont is known for audience interaction, quick pivots, and that risky comic energy where the room feels alive because nobody’s really sure what God will say next.
The title may sound spicy, but reviews often point out that the show is more thoughtful than people expect. It’s silly, sharp, queer, cheeky, and surprisingly warm around the edges.
