And now, we are ready to light the way for what comes next.

At the Starlite Ball, the East Kootenay Foundation for Health (EKFH) will officially launch our $1,000,000 campaign to bring a state-of-the-art 3Dimensions Mammography System with Artificial Intelligence to the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.

Advanced 3D mammography combined with AI has the potential to detect more cancers earlier, improve diagnostic efficiency, enhance the screening experience, and help expand access to advanced breast imaging for women across our region.

Earlier detection can mean earlier treatment. Earlier treatment can mean better outcomes. Better outcomes mean more mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, friends, and loved ones getting the opportunity to live healthier lives.
