The 2026 Kootenay Rockies Gran Fondo welcomed approximately 400 riders, along with their families and supporters, to St. Eugene Resort and the surrounding region for a memorable day of cycling, community and support for local causes.

Organizers would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s event possible.

A special thank you goes to the many volunteers who gave their time before, during and after the Fondo. From registration and aid stations to course support, traffic control, rider assistance and event setup, the event simply could not happen without their commitment.

Organizers would also like to thank the nearly 400 riders who took part this year. Their enthusiasm, energy and support helped make the 2026 Fondo one to remember, while also bringing families, visitors and supporters into the region.

The event would also not be possible without the generous support of its sponsors and community partners. Their financial contributions, services and in-kind support help cover the many costs involved in delivering a safe, fully supported cycling event of this size.

The Kootenay Rockies Gran Fondo is a 100% non-profit event organized by the Rotary Club of Cranbrook Sunrise in cooperation with JCI Kootenay. Proceeds from the event support local charitable organizations and community initiatives throughout the region.

Organizers are grateful to everyone who played a part in making the 2026 event a success and look forward to continuing to grow the Kootenay Rockies Gran Fondo in the years ahead.
