Marysville/Kimberley head to a heritage Daze
Kimberley is going to be a whirlwind of activities this upcoming Saturday (June 1), as it prepares to celebrate its heritage.
A great line-up of events are planned in Marysville and throughout the rest of Kimberley, including the annual Marysville Daze with a full day of activities beginning at 8 a.m. with a pancake breakfast to an afternoon pig roast and running through to the dance beginning at 9 p.m.
Marysville Artisans are hosting their ninth annual open house from noon to 5 p.m. and there will be tours of historic Marysville School between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
And the Kimberley Library Heritage Book Sale is also being held in Marysville.
Kimberley’s Platzl fires up with an afternoon of activities from noon to 4 p.m. with buskers, an art market, Plein Air Painters, free kids’ entertainment, face painting and afternoon stories at the library.
