Annual Fall Book Sale begins Oct. 2
Books galore!
The annual Fall Book Sale of the Friends of the Cranbrook Public Library and the Sunrise Rotary Club will take place at the Ktunaxa Gym (220 Cranbrook St. N.) from Oct. 2 to Oct. 6.
This is a great opportunity to purchase books and audio-visual items at a greatly reduced price. The public donations of books this year has been amazing and there are tons of books on all subjects to browse through.
Wednesday, Oct. 2 is ‘members only’ day and is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Don’t despair if you aren’t a member already. A $10 membership to the Friends can be purchased at the door and entitles you to have first pick of the items.
Thursday, Oct. 3 is open from 9:30 a.m. to 9 pm to allow for late evening shopping.
Friday and Saturday (Oct. 4 & 5) hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday (Oct. 6) is the very popular Bag Sale and hours are 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Bring your Friends/Library bag and fill it for $4. Or for $5 purchase a Friends bag at the sale and fill it. Only these bags can be used.
As always, we are accepting books, videos, DVDs, CDs, and books on tape for all age groups. Items must be in good condition and can be dropped off at the circulation desk at the Cranbrook Public Library.
At this time we can’t accept encyclopedia sets. Pocket books are especially appreciated.
Remember, we accept donations year round so any time is a good time to bring items in. For further information call Marilyn at 250-489-6254.
