Chamber members asked for input on city policing

Letter to the Editor

Dear Chamber Members,

Re:  Business issues for RCMP

Policing priorities are being set for the Cranbrook RCMP Detachment’s Annual Performance Plan, and we’ve been given the opportunity to provide thoughts from the business community.

As members of the Cranbrook & District Chamber of Commerce, your input and perspective is important to us. From a business perspective, do you have any policing-related concerns or suggestions that you would like us to bring to the attention of the RCMP?

This could be in the areas of: Crime Reduction, Organized Crime, Family Violence, or Road Safety or other issues of concern to you. If you have any comments on policing priorities, please send them direct to[email protected] prior to March 4. They will be wrapped into themes and included in our response to the RCMP.

We look forward to your valuable input. Thank you.

Dave Butler, President,

Cranbrook & District Chamber of Commerce
