Vivian had a zest for life and a love of family like no other. She was a dedicated and incredibly loving grandmother and great grandmother who never wavered to put her family above all else.
Vivian was born in 1943 and raised in Afton Nova Scotia. As a young woman she bravely moved to Halifax where she met her husband, Charlie, while both working at the Halifax Infirmary. She and Charlie were married 59 years when he passed in 2022. Viv was primarily a stay-at-home mother while her children grew up.
Her favorite things to do always involved just being together. She loved games, playing cards, family get togethers, dances, bingo nights, shopping, and puzzles.
During holidays she would put up her beautiful Christmas village and during summer she loved driving or traveling to see family. It was some of the many life joys she loved so much.
Vivian built a very special and strong relationship with every single person in her life. She was Nan to all who knew her. The natural matriarch of the family, Vivian took the role of grandmother to more than just her own, she was a confidante and shining example to all of us on how to be a selfless, beautiful, and truly genuine and loving person every day of her life.
She will be missed profoundly by her family and all who were lucky enough to cross her path in life.
Cremation has taken place and burial will occur at a later date next to her husband, Charlie.
