Jingle Jams Saturdays all December long
The holiday season is one of the few times in the year when celebrations utilize all five senses. From smelling that turkey roasting in the oven to seeing the falling snow, it is nearly impossible not to become giddy with delight when the month of December draws nearer.
This year, The Arts Station, The Bean Pod, Freshies and Ghostrider Trading will give to you the sense of sound in the form of Saturday afternoon performances entitled ‘Jingle Jams’ by some of Fernie’s finest talent throughout the month of December! The best part is that all of the shows are free! If that doesn’t put you in the holiday spirit, we don’t know what will.
Kicking off Jingle Jams will be Sandra Summerfield, Sonia Roy with a special guest at the Bean Pod from 2 to 4 p.m. this coming Saturday, December 3. There is no need to reserve seats, just bring yourself and a smile for of the performances.
The following week, on Dec. 10 at Freshies from 2 to 4 p.m. will be Sheva and next in line are Shauna Pant and Anie Hepher at The Arts Station from 2p.m. to 4 p.m. on the 17th. This one will be particularly special because Santa will be making a grand appearance so he can have his photo taken with all of the little kiddies!
Wrapping up, not only the Jingle Jams series but ‘What the Dickens’ altogether, will be Anie and Mike Hepher at Ghostrider Trading on December 24 (Christmas Eve) from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
If you have any questions about any of the performances, don’t hesitate to contact The Arts Station at 250-423-4842 or send an email to [email protected],com.
