Anna Clark of the Cranbrook Public Library, Captain Linda Green of The Salvation Army, Allan Davis of Sunrise Rotary Club, Katherine Hough of Columbia Basin Alliance For Literacy, and Mae and Wilf Williams of the BC Hydro Power Pioneers gathered at the Cranbrook Public Library to announce that it is time for the Book Under Every Tree project, now in its second year.

At The Salvation Army Christmas hamper recipients can chose a bag of books for their children.  At the Rotary Club Angel Tree the adults picking up gifts for their children can chose a book as well. At the Cranbrook Public Library children can chose a book to give as a gift to a parent in the Library’s ‘Wrap up a Gift’ program.
