Several charges have been laid as a result of drive-by shootings that took place in Kimberley, April 4 and 5.
Two males were arrested after two reports were received about shots being fired at the same residence on Archibald Street.
The two appeared before a Judicial Justice of the Peace by teleconference call on Friday April 5. A 27-year-old male has been charged with; Discharge a Firearm with Intent (X2) April 4 and April 5 incidents; Possession of a Weapon while being Prohibited; Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Ammunition; and Breach of Probation.
A second male, 27-years-old has been charged with Breach of Probation.
Both have extensive Criminal Records and have been remanded in custody to appear in Cranbrook Court, Monday, April 8.
A number of investigators worked long hours on Friday April 5 to follow up on the incident. They did determine there is no link between the subjects charged and the occupants of the residence that was shot at.
