Church hosting Mounties/public for fallen RCMP service

The Alliance Church in Cranbrook has graciously offered their facility to allow RCMP members and the public to participate in the funeral service being held for our fallen comrades in Moncton, New Brunswick. The service will be streamed live via CBC to a big screen in the church.

remdaypWhere: Alliance Church, 1200 Kootenay Street North, Cranbrook.

When: Tuesday, June 10 at 10 a.m. (Service starts at 10 a.m.; however, CBC coverage starts at 8 a.m.) local time.

Who: Open to all members and general public.

RCMP officers will marching: Where: Tamarack Mall parking lot, next to Target. When: Tuesday, June 10 at 9:15 a.m.; be prepared to march at 9:30 a.m.

Order of dress: Review Order is mandatory for all Regular Members attending the parade (stripped Sam Browne, brown boots, breeches, scarlet tunic, felt hat (Stetson), brown gloves, full medals/decorations and mourning ribbon).

Officers not marching can wear their forage caps. Civilian members and public servants can wear their regimental blazer or business attire.
