Planned water outage in Fairmont Nov. 24
The Fairmont Community Association today reminded Fairmont Hot Springs residents via social media of an upcoming water outage.
Corix Utilities says a water outage is planned for Wednesday, November 24 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., which will impact Fairmont Hot Springs and Dutch Creek communities.
“This is to facilitate a watermain valve replacement on Wills Road at Fairway Drive. Unfortunately, there is no way to isolate the repair site and maintain water supply to the community. Corix regrets the inconvenience.”
The community association suggested residents fill a bathtub prior to the outage so you have water to flush toilets and for basic sanitation.
A Boil Water Advisory will be in effect for approximately seven days following the outage.
